Terms and Conditions
Effective date: 30 August 2026
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of Whole, the application for tracking personal net worth (the “App”), provided by Gianmarco David (“we”, “us”, or “our”). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
1. Eligibility
You may use the App only if you are at least 18 years old, have reached the age of legal majority where you live, and are legally capable of entering into a binding agreement. If you do not meet all of these requirements, do not use the App. You must not use the App where doing so would be prohibited by applicable law.
2. The App
The App lets you record assets, liabilities, categories, notes, and historical net-worth information, visualize trends, create exports, and optionally back up data to Google Drive or Dropbox. Some functionality may require a compatible device, internet connection, or a third-party account.
3. Personal use license
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable licence to install and use the App for your personal, non-commercial use on devices that you own or control. The App is licensed, not sold.
You must not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, sublicense, reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the App’s source code, except where applicable law permits it and cannot be excluded.
4. Financial-information disclaimer
The App is an organizational and informational tool. It does not provide financial, investment, tax, accounting, legal, credit, or other professional advice. Calculations, charts, and records may contain errors or become unavailable. Do not make financial decisions solely on the basis of the App; seek qualified professional advice where appropriate.
You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you enter, for reviewing exports and backups, and for keeping copies of information that matters to you.
5. Your data and backups
Your App records are stored primarily on your device. You retain your rights in the content you enter. If Android system backup is enabled on a supported device, Android may automatically include eligible App data in a device backup and restore it later. That process is controlled by Android and your device or Google-account backup settings and is separate from Whole’s in-app backup.
If you choose Google Drive or Dropbox backup, you authorize the App to transfer backup files to the account and folder you select. You are responsible for maintaining access to that account, securing it, and managing or deleting its backup files. Backups may fail because of connectivity, third-party-service, device, storage, or other technical issues. We recommend maintaining independent copies of important information.
Our Privacy Policy explains how the App handles information.
6. Premium and purchases
The App may offer in-app purchases that remove ads or unlock Premium features. The applicable app-store provider shows the price, currency, exact features and, where relevant, duration, renewal, and cancellation terms before purchase. Payment, billing, order confirmation, cancellation, refunds, and purchase history are handled by that provider and are subject to its applicable terms and policies.
Premium is associated with the app-store account used for purchase and may be restored on compatible devices using that account, subject to the provider’s capabilities and policies. A purchased entitlement will not be removed except where required for legal or security reasons, or where the app-store provider determines that the purchase is invalid, refunded, reversed, or otherwise no longer effective.
Nothing in these Terms limits mandatory consumer rights, including any statutory withdrawal or refund rights that apply to you.
7. Advertising
The free version may display advertising. Premium users are not shown App advertising. Advertising and privacy choices are described in the Privacy Policy. Where Google makes a privacy-options form available, users of the advertising-supported version can revisit their choices from the App’s settings.
8. Acceptable use
You must use the App lawfully and must not interfere with its security or operation, attempt to bypass purchase or advertising controls, introduce malware, or use the App in a way that infringes another person’s rights.
9. Third-party services
The App integrates with services including Google Play, Google Drive, Dropbox, Firebase, and AdMob. Your use of those services is governed by their separate terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party services, their availability, or changes to them.
10. Updates and availability
We may provide updates needed to maintain the App’s conformity, security, or compatibility. We may also modify the App for valid reasons, including changes in law, security risks, technical requirements, third-party services, prevention of abuse, or improvements that do not materially reduce core functionality. Such modifications will not impose an additional charge for an existing entitlement.
If a modification materially and negatively affects a consumer’s access to or use of the App, we will provide clear information about the modification and its timing reasonably in advance and on a durable medium where applicable law requires it. We will also provide any right to retain an unmodified version, terminate, obtain a refund, or receive another remedy required by applicable consumer law.
We may suspend or discontinue all or part of the App where reasonably necessary, including for legal, security, technical, or commercial reasons. Where reasonably practicable, we will give advance notice and an opportunity to export locally accessible data. Any discontinuation remains subject to mandatory notice, conformity, refund, termination, or other consumer rights.
11. Intellectual property
The App, including its software, design, text, graphics, and trademarks, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These Terms do not transfer any ownership rights to you.
12. Disclaimer and limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the App is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not warrant that the App will always be uninterrupted or that data loss will never occur. This does not exclude the legal guarantee of conformity, remedies for lack of conformity, or any other warranty or consumer right that applicable law makes mandatory.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, savings, or goodwill arising from your use of or inability to use the App. This limitation does not exclude liability that cannot legally be excluded, including liability for fraud, wilful misconduct, or death or personal injury caused by negligence where applicable law prohibits exclusion.
13. Termination
You may terminate these Terms at any time by stopping use of the App and uninstalling it. Uninstalling does not cancel any recurring purchase that may be offered, or delete cloud or Android system backups; use the app-store, backup-provider, and device-account controls for those actions.
We may suspend or terminate your licence to use the App if you materially breach these Terms, use the App unlawfully, create a security risk, or if we discontinue the App. Where reasonably practicable, we will provide notice and an opportunity to correct a breach before termination. We will not limit any notice, refund, access, or other remedy required by applicable consumer law.
When these Terms terminate, your right to use the App ends. Sections that by their nature should continue—including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, governing law, disputes, and severability—remain in effect. The Privacy Policy continues to govern information processed before termination and for as long as it is retained.
14. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms for valid reasons, including changes to the App, applicable law, security requirements, third-party services, or our documented practices. Changes will be proportionate to those reasons and will not retroactively reduce rights attached to a completed purchase.
The updated Terms will be posted here with a new effective date. We will provide reasonable advance notice in the App or on a durable medium where required by law. If applicable law requires your express agreement, the change will take effect for you only after you agree. Any right to reject a change, terminate, obtain a refund, or receive another remedy under mandatory law remains unaffected.
15. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by Italian law. If you are a consumer habitually resident in another country, you retain any mandatory protections of that country’s law. For disputes with consumers, the competent court is the court required by applicable consumer-protection law. For all other disputes, the courts with jurisdiction over the provider’s registered residence have jurisdiction, unless mandatory law provides otherwise.

17. Severability
If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect to the extent permitted by law.
